Top 5 Exercises to Lose Belly Fat

There are hundreds of exercises that you may have tried to lose weight.

You may have even tried a few exercises that claim to burn fat in the abdominal region.

But here, I will be listing out the Top 5 Exercises that you can do to Lose Belly Fat.



NO 1 Crunches
Crunches are one of the best exercises if you want to lose fat from your abdominal region.

How they are done-
1. Lie on your back, then bend your knees, and put your feet on the ground at a distance from the hip.
2. Place your arms behind the head, to support it during the motion.
3. Stretch your abdominal area inward by lifting your head and shoulders, and taking it towards the knees.
4. Pause during the motion when your head and shoulders are above the ground.
5. Repeat this as per your desire.




NO 2 Scissor Kicks
Scissor Kicks target your upper abs and your lower and,

How they are done- 
1. Lie down on your back, and place your palms behind your hips.
2. Lift both your legs and your head.
3. One of your legs should be above the other leg in this motion.
4. Repeat this cycle on both of your legs.
5. Don’t place your legs and head until you have completed at least 12 repetitions of exercise in a single set.



NO 3 Sit-Ups
Sit-ups are done to target and train your lower and upper abs. 

How they are done-
1. Lie on your back, bend your knees, and place your legs on the floor at a little distance from your hips.
2. Place your hand behind your head, to maintain the stability of the head during the exercise.
3. Lift your body, while keeping your legs in the same position.
4. Squeeze your abdominal area inwards by making it touch the thighs during this exercise.
5. Lie on your back once again, and repeat this as many times you desire to.



NO 4 Heel Touch 
Primarily done for targeting lower and upper abs.

How they are done-
1. Lie on your back, bend your knees, put both legs on the ground at a little distance from the hips.
2. Lift your shoulders and head a bit, while placing your legs on the ground.
3. Try to touch a single heel with one hand.
4. Repeat this on both the legs/heels, depending on your desire.



NO 5 Russian Twist
They are done to target the upper and lower abs.

How they are done-
1. Sit on the floor, and make your legs straight on the ground. 
2. Bend your knees a bit, and lift your legs from the floor.
3. Try to balance your body on your hips. If this is not possible, then you can keep your legs on the ground.
4. Join your hands and twist your upper body from left to right.
5. Repeat this as per your desire.
